Ontario Issues 1,000 Invitations in Expression of Interest Draws for Immigration Nominee Program
At Launch Immigration, we are excited to share the latest developments in Ontario’s Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). In the recent Expression of Interest draws held on June 20, Ontario issued a total of 1,000 invitations through two streams: Employer Job Offer and In-Demand Skills.
Through the Employer Job Offer stream for Foreign Workers, Ontario targeted skilled trades occupations and invited 426 candidates who scored 36 and above. This draw specifically addressed the labor market needs in various industries. The selected occupations ranged from drafting technologists and information systems testing technicians to carpentry trades and industrial instrument technicians.
In addition to the trades, the Foreign Workers draw also focused on health occupations, inviting 318 candidates scoring 33 and above. This draw aimed to meet the increasing demand for healthcare professionals in Ontario. The selected occupations included physicians, dentists, pharmacists, registered nurses, medical laboratory technologists, and many other healthcare practitioners.
Furthermore, the In-Demand Skills stream held a general draw, where 256 candidates scoring 26 and above were invited. This stream targeted occupations that are in high demand within the Ontario labor market, ensuring a thriving workforce in various sectors.
